shoot 3 evaluation by Saqib Younis

On Sunday morning at 10:30 AM we shot the fire station shoot, this was organized by our director Emma Taylor through previous links with Rawtenstall fire station.

We began with a brief talk with the fire man and discussed ideas with them and gave them a brief synopsis with the fireman. After this we went outside where we filmed the fire man ride around in their fire truck with the sirens on, Emma and Abi were using a camera to film the shot and Tom was also filming from a different angle to give us a variety of shots. My role was to capture the behind the scene pictures and I managed to get loads of good behind the scenes pictures as seen in my blog.

After this the fire man offered to take a door of a wrecked vehicle for us. This was a great idea as it will give us many options when we edit our trailer. Through the cutting of of the door we filmed the removal of the equipment from the fire truck then the removal of the door. Tom shot the scene from a different angle this gives us numerous shots from different angles so we have a selections of shots to choose from.

There weren't many problems in countered through the shoot, the only one was that the camera in which I was taking pictures on battery died so I then had to use a iPhone which was not ideal however it still worked very effectively and the pictures turned out to be great.

Overall the shoot was a success there was only a minor speed bump in the problems with he camera but other than that the filming ran smoothly.
